Instructor: Master Qiao Zhengquan

Master Qiao Zhengquan is an official Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritor of Emei Martial Arts and serves as the Dean of the Zhongfeng Martial Arts Research Institute. A prominent civic leader, he is a member of both the Democratic National Construction Association and the Emei Shan Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC). Beyond his martial arts lineage, Master Qiao is recognized as an Emei Cultural Tourism Talent and an Emei Master Craftsman. 

He actively contributes to community health and rural development as a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Industry Expert for Sichuan Province’s “Science and Technology Countryside Tour Initiative.” In honor of his lifelong dedication to cultural preservation and education, he has been awarded titles including Sichuan “Star of Lifelong Learning” and Sichuan Rural Cultural Luminary.

Introduction to the origin, cultural heritage, and evolution of the Emei Martial Arts tradition.

II. Traditional Emei Etiquette

Foundational martial etiquette, ceremonial greetings, and mind-body respect practices.

III. Emei Natural Martial Arts: Targeted Therapeutic Qi-Gong Systems

  1. Rooting Central Energy Method (Pei Zhong Gu Qi Fa) – Cultivating and stabilizing core Qi.
  2. Small Golden Elixir Practice (Xiao Jin Dan) – Cleansing and strengthening the Lung Energy (Metal Element).
  3. Spinal Realignment & Alignment Care – Mobilizing and balancing the spine.
  4. Cervical Spine Therapy – Relieving neck tension and restoring mobility.
  5. Shoulder & Neck Maintenance – Deep release for upper back and shoulder girdle.
  6. Knee Health & Joint Care – Strengthening joint integrity and lower-body stability.
  7. Seven-Star Wisdom Hands (Qi Xing Yi Zhi Shou) – Hand reflexology and cognitive vitality exercises.
